Embossing is a process where plates and pressure is used to create a unique raised detail on one side of the business card. On this process this will create a deboss look or a reverse look of embossing on the opposite side of the card. This process can be combined with foil stamping, printed or plain embossed business card.
Debossing is the opposite of embossing and other process using plate and pressure. While emboss process needs to apply enough pressure to create a design, with debossing this only needs little pressure to create notches of your design or branding. This process can be combined with foil stamping, printed or plain embossed business card.
Foil stamping is a special process which the metallic foil is applied to paper with using heated plate. Different colour options are available since foil doesn’t come in as many colours as ink does.
